Diversity and Inclusion

Proud to be recognised as a forces-friendly place to work

We’re proud to have joined local authorities and businesses across Great Britain in signing the Armed Forces Covenant and have now received an Employer Recognition Scheme gold award, one year after being awarded with our silver award.

Armed Forces Covenant gold award

This means we welcome and support veterans and reservists, understanding that their lived experience brings with it a variety of valuable transferable skills and qualities that Electricity North West and our communities can benefit from.

We encourage other companies to sign up to the covenant. If you would like to know more about our journey please get in touch or to find out more about the Armed Forces Covenant, visit the website.

At Electricity North West, our people are our most important asset so we’re passionate about creating a great place to work where we can all be ourselves, reach our full potential and build long-lasting careers. We’re striving to increase diversity of thought and talent in our people and to recruit a highly skilled workforce that’s representative of the communities we serve.

For us, embracing our differences is what makes us stronger.
